I am fascinated at how NotebookLM is taking a lot of anguish out of my day. I wanted to get more clarity about some client calls and better understand how they come in to my world, and how they leave. Like what’s their “transformation”. Because a lot of what I do doesn’t transpire to immediate results. Here are 4 ways how I’m using NotebookLM for my business.

🧰 I love me a good digital marketing tool. This week’s recommended tool is AppSump.
Speaking of tools, this is the grand daddy of the tools finders. It’s been around for quite some time and offers a lot of lifetime offers on tools. Now, use at your own risk. One time I bought a “lifetime” offer app and then later they said, oh we’re not supporting that anymore, we’re in a new version and that doesn’t apply to the lifetime offer. That said, I also know a lot of people who that didn’t happen to. My TidyCal is one that successfully came from that. Tidaycal is a calendar booking system.
Peek inside my toolbox.
🎧 This week’s recommended podcast episode is The Hidden Link Between Trauma and High Achievement in Women with Farya Barlas on the show Tried and True with a Dash of Woo.
I’m beginning to think when people use “high achiever” in their content, they mean workaholics. LOL Just my personal connection. I didn’t get any actionable takeaways from this one but I enjoyed the conversation.

I am fascinated at how NotebookLM is taking a lot of anguish out of my day.
I wanted to get more clarity about some client calls and better understand how they come in to my world, and how they leave. Like what’s their “transformation”.
Because a lot of what I do doesn’t transpire to immediate results.
So I want to share with you how I’m using NotebookLM for that and some other things.
I am down a rabbit hole of new tools lately. NotebookLM being one of them. I’ve been reevaluating my messaging and one of the things I did was download a bunch of client calls. And then I uploaded them into a notebook in NotebookLM.
It first provides a description. This one in particular, one of the sentences said… “The program follows a structured transformation pathway that moves from an initial site audit to the execution of a tailored content strategy based on keyword research and audience behavior.”
And I was like hell yeah! That’s what we did! At the time, it never feels like that me. Because many times we go off on tangents or we sometimes of course talk about our day. I don’t force structure totally into my calls. I do force a path though.
So then I asked it to explicitly provide me the transformation this person got. This is especially helpful for me because I have a hard time with concepting this when my need for tangible results is so great, and tangible results in my world doesn’t immediately transpire.
Another thing I use it for is concepting out my podcast flow. I tend to record my guest episodes as straight question and answer but the output is of more editorial style. So I upload my transcript and ask NotebookLM to put it in an editorial style.
Another thing I’ve used it for is to summarize a super long article. Sometimes, I’m just not in the mood for back stories. Give me the info so I can get on with my day.
The thing about NotebookLM is it doesn’t usually make up stuff because it’s only pulling the info in the documents. What’s inside the notebook. However, anything can be inside the notebook. YouTubes, Google Drive, external links, PDFs,
Oh, another thing I’m now experimenting with is using it for Case Studies. I downloaded about two years of data from a client and working with how to ask it questions in a way that will find the best case study selections. Of course I’m not going to take it’s word for it. Once it finds it I’ll go look at the data manually to ensure accuracy. But this has been a sticking point for me in creating case studies. Not knowing where to start.
Now here’s the super fun part… you can create various materials from these sources.
One time I uploaded an industry report and had it present it to me in a podcast format. There are two people that talk back and forth about the information. It’s a trip I tell ya.
You can also create presentations, PDFs, infographics. Editing is little to none but lots of options. Here’s The Takeaway

Trying new tools is part of business. I feel like right now, it’s completely overwhelming with AI in the mix. The important thing to remember is there will always be a new tool to try out. I work hard to remind myself I don’t need to try them all right now in this minute. Sometimes I schedule some time in and sometimes I just wait until I feel like I want to try it out.
Here’s what I know. A lot of business owners are sitting alone with questions they don’t know how to answer. Questions like: ‘Am I investing my time in the right marketing?’ or ‘Is this advice actually good for MY business?’ or ‘Who can I truly trust?’
And that’s where I want to help. I offer 90-minute clarity calls.
