I think sometimes, it can feel like we are doing all the right things to get more leads in our business. And we think we’re doing them correctly. And we’re still not seeing leads. Doing all the posts on all our channels. And then checking our email and the inquiries aren’t there. That’s when the guessing starts. This episode tells you how you can stop guessing.

I think sometimes, it can feel like we are doing all the right things to get more leads in our business. And we think we’re doing them correctly. And we’re still not seeing leads. Doing all the posts on all our channels. And then checking our email and the inquiries aren’t there.
That’s when the guessing starts.
Should you keep paying for ads? Double down on social? Spend more time blogging? Or drop one altogether?
Most business owners don’t realize how much time and money they lose by spreading effort across too many places. They’re active, they’re posting, they’re testing ads and without clarity, it’s just busy work.
Who needs more busy work? I certainly don’t. I want to KNOW that my time and budget isn’t going into channels that don’t give me a return.
As a business owner, this means making decisions based on facts, not what Sally Sue told you to do. (Ok I did that for rhyming reasons, but seriously just because you see something working for that random stranger on Instagram, doesn’t mean it’s the right method for your business.)
It means admitting… “This channel is working, so I’ll keep investing here. This one isn’t, so I’ll pull back.”
That kind of clarity is what frees you from second-guessing every move.
One quick way to find out is the Traffic Acquisition Report in GA4 (Reports → Acquisition → Traffic acquisition). It shows exactly where people are finding your site, be it Google search, Instagram, AI search engines, referrals, or otherwise.
Then ask yourself… Which of these channels led to an inquiry, form fill, or phone call? Whichever “event’ (as it’s called in GA4) is your primary lead.
If a channel is driving traffic but no inquiries, it’s not where your time or budget should go. If a channel consistently brings in leads, it’s worth pursuing more.
The Takeaway
Decisions get a loooot easier when you can see where your clients are really coming from.
